Free Border Skate is a female lead, female centered extreme skate program in Lebanon's Beqaa Valley, aimed at fostering positive spaces for youth living in areas of conflict and civil unrest. Through the therapeutic nature of physical activity and the confidence building that comes with learning an extreme sport, Free Border Skate encourages children and teenagers to positively express themselves, and work towards overcoming the trauma(s) of their past. Free Border Skate is a program hosted by Salam LADC & sponsored by Salam LADC U.K. If you would like to be part of our program, please check out the list below of ways you can get involved.
Get Up Close & Personal
COVID -19 Has has brought events globally to a crashing halt, and that includes our inaugural trip to Lebanon, where our international coaches will train local, term trainers to ensure Free Border Skate is sustainable and locally lead. Almost all spots for volunteers have been filled for our first trip (dates pending) but if spots open up, please make sure you're on on mailing list to be the first to be notified.
